Our client, a car dealership in the SS postcode area of Essex has an exciting opportunity for a Booking Clerk to join and support their Aftersales Department.
The primary role is to take incoming service booking telephone calls as well as making outbound calls to existing customers to get them booked in for their next service, and arranging for courtesy vehicles using a computerised system. You will need to be able to provide solutions for general service queries which best meet the customers needs. You will provide cost estimates and invoice the customer, collecting payments.
As you would expect you must be able to demonstrate an excellent telephone manner and top class communication skills. You will need an eye for detail and great all round administration and organisational skills.
A background in the automotive industry would be a distinct advantage as would a knowledge of 1Link or Kerridge but it's not essential if you can show a proven skill set for this type of role.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays 8.30am - 5pm
