Business Development Manager - Field sales - Freight forwarding - Is required to sell the Air and Sea freight forwarding services of a major freight forwarding company. Air and Sea Freight sector experience is required, no Sales experience is required. you can either have Freight or similar Sales experience or come from a Freight Forwarding Operational background and want to get into sales and business development.
ROLE: Business Development Manager - Field sales - Freight Forwarding
BASIC SALARY: £40k to £45k
OTE: Monthly commission - Uncapped

ROLE: Responsible for the identification, acquisition, development and retention of a customer base within the Air & Sea freight modes. Mainly Air Freight
You will be fully accountable for the growth of GP across these modes and in line with a structured sales scheme.
You will report to the National Sales Manager and will be required to generate weekly and monthly progress reports and others when required.
Involved with market campaigns and the related literature.
- Primary Targets: Gross margin
- Secondary Targets: Sales activity targets (logged in our CMS System), customer base growth.
Air or Sea Freight Sales or business development experience and Sea Freight Operational experience.
