Helston Garages Group (Volvo) are looking to recruit a Customer Services Consultant to join our successful team at our superb Volvo Retail Experience dealership in Exeter.

We are looking for someone with customer relationship experience and would be particularly keen to hear from applicants with telesales experience gained in either a contact centre or customer support role who can demonstrate exceptional communication skills.

The role is very wide ranging but key responsibilities will be:-

  • To maximise labour sales opportunity through the dealership customer contact programme which this role has primary responsibility for
  • Manage the service visit / MOT reminder programme to ensure that all opportunities to secure workshop bookings are maximised
  • Proactively use professional telesales techniques to ensure required daily workshop booking targets are achieved
  • To record customer requirement / booking details accurately in dealership systems
  • To maintain a smart appearance and provide a professional and courteous service to dealership customers at all times
  • To be a main call handler on incoming calls using the required Volvo compliant script within the required 3 ring target

The ideal candidate….

  • An excellent communicator with an ability to develop long term customer relationships
  • Will thrive on being the primary telephone contact for all Aftersales customers
  • Has an in depth understanding of customer service and a genuine desire to provide outstanding levels of service at all times
  • Can use professional telesales techniques to ensure required daily Aftersales booking targets are achieved
  • Has the capability to work within a structured, process driven role but at the same time possesses a clear entrepreneurial outlook and the ability to create opportunities through proactive behaviour
