The Role

We are seeking an Environmental & Energy Coordinator to join Marshall Motor Group’s HSE team and maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in environmental matters to provide General Managers and HSE Advisors with appropriate advice and support.

 

What does a typical day involve?

  • Work with management teams to investigate environmental incidents and help identify root cause and follow up agreed actions.
  • Provide input to the training foe the new managers delivered by HSE advisors within the business.
  • Work with the HSE Manager to develop and implement an Environmental and Energy management system in line with the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 55000
  • Collect, analyse and present data on certain regulations
  • Ensure that all Bodyshop permits requirements are identified and implemented as required.
  • Develop and implement a system to manage COSHH and REACH assessments across the business.
  • Manage waste permits, such as trade effluent consents and exceptions
  • Support the HSE Manager in harmonising new acquisitions and disposals.
  • Undertake specific projects to improve the environmental performance of the business as agreed with the HSE Manager.
  • Undertake any other tasks as identified and requested by the HSE Manager

What skills and experience do I need?

You will have previous administration experience and experience or an interest in gaining experience in Environmental & Energy Coordination. You will need to have an Environmental qualification/degree and intermediate IT skills with experience in MS Outlook and Excel. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
