General Sales Manager

We are looking to recruit a General Sales Manager at our client’s state of the art Dealership based in Bolton. Applications are encouraged from candidates who are currently working as a Car Sales Manager or within a similar role who have sales management experience. If you have managed a Sales Team within a volume dealership this would be a distinct advantage.

As the Used Car Sales Manager:

  • You will manage and oversee all aspect of new and used car sales
  • Oversee stock management
  • Mentor and motivate the Car Sales Team including management
  • Assist with overall management of this state of the art facility
  • Have a highly detailed and analytical approach

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving Sales and maximising profitability
  • Recruiting and selecting the sales team members in line with organisational requirements
  • Training and motivating the team with daily and measured 1-2-1 review meetings
  • Maintaining customer service standards and processes that are in line with Manufacturer standards and business requirements
  • Managing enquiries and identifying opportunities to grow market share, long term loyalty and profitability.
  • Creating high quality marketing and promotion strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity
  • Regularly communicates and interacts with members of other departments to develop the business and the business team ethos
