Depot Location: Nottingham
 
Hourly rate: £21.00 per hour - Overtime paid at time and a half / Double time
 
Working hours: 20:00 - 06:00 - Tuesday - Friday
 
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role
 
Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic is required for a successful workshop based in Nottingham.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician

·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician
 
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence would be an advantage - Those that don't have a heavy licence will be given the chance to gain one after 6 months service
·Fault finding & Diagnostic experience
·Experience working in a Dealer workshop environment would be ideal for this role
