A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a MET Technician to join a leading independent accident repair group who are going through an exciting growth period.

We are looking to recruit skilled and experienced MET Technicians to work at our brand-new, purpose built Bodyshop in tKnowsley, Merseyside.

The Vella Group Repair Centre Liverpool is set to open its doors in August 2020.

We can still give video call interviews however social distancing measures and government guidelines are in place should you be asked to attend a face to face interview.

THE ROLE:

As a MET Technician at The Vella Group we want all our staff to take pride in the quality of their work. We are uncompromising on customer safety; therefore, all our repairs are to manufacturer and industry standards. Despite not being a customer facing role, all our staff are focused on delivering what's important to each individual customer.

MET Technicians are specialists in identifying any mechanical and electrical components which may be damaged and ensuring that they are removed, and safely refitted back on the vehicle. Experience of using diagnostic equipment, and carrying out wheel alignments, are a key requirement for the role, preferably supported by the relevant qualifications.

Working closely in partnership with our Vehicle Assessors, MET Technicians will assist on making decisions on the appropriate method of repair. As a family business we pride ourselves on being a close-knit team, and a culture of sharing knowledge of best practice with each other.
