The Role

We are seeking a MET Technician to join a team of specialist Technicians at Marshall’s Paint & Bodyshop in Grimsby and assist in providing a high quality and efficient vehicle MET repair offering for our customers.

Working as part of a team and reporting to the Bodyshop Manager, this role offers you the opportunity to use your technical expertise and attention to detail to produce high quality results.

You will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, and will have the chance to earn individual weekly and monthly bonus on a OTE scheme.

Responsibilities

Assist in fault finding and diagnostics to assess vehicle repair requirements

Remove and replace mechanical, electrical and trim vehicle components


Dismantle and reassemble key vehicle parts ensure working order


Ensure appropriate vehicle parts and replacement parts are fitted in line with standards


Complete assigned work in line with timeframe and cost constraints


Ensure all works are completed to a high standard in line with quality and health and safety requirements

Required Skills and Experience

You will be a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with a full UK driving licence, ideally ATA/NVQ Level 3 MET qualification. In addition to your prior experience, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

High quality standards with strong attention to detail


A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience


Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
