We are looking for an additional qualified MOT Tester to join our service team at Arden Tunbridge Wells.
The key purpose of the role:
To carry out MOT Testing as specified on the job cards and suggesting additional work that may need attention, and maintain all the necessary paperwork and computer updates for each MOT Test performed
To accept the BMW/MINI UK continual development programme with a view to attaining the ATA qualifications, and thereafter maintaining ATA Technician Certification.
working to a reasonable time schedule, compared to Arden MOT time allocations
always test fully according to the Ministry Standards
carrying out repairs and replacing damaged parts to manufacturer standards and using BMW/MINI instructions where instructed
road testing the vehicle to check any repair work is satisfactory, where applicable
carrying out standard servicing and checks to the BMW / MINI schedules
keep the work area and all workshop equipment clean and tidy at all times. (Sweep up and pick all litter as required)
Ensure all keys are securely placed in the key cabinet
Report any damage to vehicles caused by vehicle movement immediately to your line manager
