Over the next few months, whilst workshops and dealerships build back up to capacity, we are growing our workforce and looking for freelance or contract MOT testers and vehicle technicians to join our nationwide network of hard-working mechanical contractors. You may be reading this thinking you'd love to make the move from being in the full time permanent job you are currently in, with no promotions, prospects or self- development, to a job where you are essentially your own boss and earn better money that any mechanical permanent position out there. Autotech Recruit takes on fully qualified or time-served vehicle mechanics and/or MOT testers that have a full driving licence and are looking for a new challenge. Similar to being a mobile mechanic but where we source the work for you, Autotech Recruit offers short- to long-term contracts, giving you the freedom of working in a variety of different locations and workplaces on the days that you want to work, working around your family and commitments. Our contract technicians only take on light mechanical work consisting mainly of used car prep, servicing and MOT repairs, meaning there is no heavier mechanical work such as gearbox, cambelts or engine rebuilds.
With weekly pay either via a payment company or your own limited business, we will also put you through fully paid manufacturer training once established with us and give you access to our online training platform where you can take part in certified EV and hybrid training amongst much more.
Hourly rates start at £17 per hour with the potential to increase up to £22 and if you're happy to travel up to an hour from home for work, then get in touch on 01234 603 094 or register your interest on our website.
