Technicians Wanted - All Experienced or NVQ Level 3+

Cheshire, Stockport, Manchester, Chester, Staffordshire, Lancashire, UK

Vehicle Technicians – Experienced – NVQ Level 3+ 

40 Hours per week

Purely Automotive Recruitment urgently require Vehicle Technicians with Franchised Manufacturer experience – NVQ Level 3+ with a proven track records in Vehicle Servicing, Vehicle Diagnostics, Utilisation of diagnostic equipment & IT Systems, and the ability to write up job cards accurately in line with manufacturer protocols.

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the experience levels we are seeking, and possess a proven training history with either a Franchised Dealer or Motor Manufacturer.   We have a number of clients requiring positions with fantastic facilities with business operating some of the world’s best luxury car brands. Requirements

To carry out service repairs and diagnostics on vehicles efficiently and competently to completing repair orders to manufacturer standards. This includes VHC, service check sheets, battery test reports, printouts when required from diagnostic equipment and to complete all necessary reports.

To complete any additional service or repair work required as instructed by the workshop controller, or service manager.

Essential criteria for the positions include:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City and Guilds or BTECH accreditation) Qualified with extensive experience working in Franchised Dealer Environments with Prestige Automotive Brands, and be highly skilled in fault diagnosis.

Technical knowledge and a passion for prestige manufacturer brands and technology would be a huge benefit.

Highly skilled at Fault Diagnosis.

Deliver first time fix to meeting customer satisfaction.

Ability to work autonomously.

Ability to work within given timescales and complete a wide range of tasks.

Ability to comply with manufacturer warranty write-ups.

To ensure or chargeable labour and workshop consumables are recorded on the job card.

Highly motivated, team player that offers help and support to others, and attention to detail.

Willingness to learn and develop personal knowledge, and keep up to date with complex, technical and product information in order to improve profitability.

An outstanding attitude and a passion for customer service.

An enthusiastic, dynamic team orientated personality.

Ability to deal with customers when necessary.

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Thorough knowledge of computer applications and diagnostic equipment.
