Motor Vehicle Technician- BASIC SALARY UP TO £32,500 PLUS Technician team bonus up to £2,400 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, being based in Barking.

We need your technical knowhow to combine with our supply partner’s state-of-the-art technology – this makes us an unbeatable combination. As you would expect we are using manufacturer diagnostic technology in all our workshops. Our aim is to ensure our customer vehicles get back on the road where they belong as quickly as possible, allowing our customer to keep their promises.


We will provide training, both in house via our technical training business partners, and through the various manufacturers we work with, this will include electric vehicle diagnostic and repair. We want to work with you to build a long and successful career with Northgate.


The Role


Using your technical knowledge to work on the electrical and mechanical systems for a range of light commercial vehicles, we can promise that every day will be packed with variety. You will use the diagnostic equipment to get to the root cause of faults, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, perform preventive maintenance and MOT preparation.


You


You will be technically trained (ideally to L3) or have L2 and spent time served in the automotive sector or similar environment. A full driving license is essential. We’ll also expect you to be a team player who’s continually focused on the needs of customers.
