Salary; OTE of up to £37,000 inclusive of overtime and bonus

The workshop in Broxburn delivers maintenance, servicing and warranty work for a fleet of around 950 vehicles, as well as being home to a Van Monster retail site too.

The workshop has a team of 14, of which 5 are technicians and are an integral part of our business, alongside providing regional workshop support of other Northgate sites and large corporate fleet clients in the area.

We need your technical knowhow to combine with our supply partners state-of-the-art technology – this makes us an unbeatable combination. As you would expect we are using manufacturer diagnostic technology in all our workshops. Our aim is to ensure our customer vehicles get back on the road where they belong as quickly as possible, allowing our customer to keep their promises.

We will provide training, both in house via our technical training business partners, and through the various manufacturers we work with. We want to work with you to build a long and successful career with Northgate.

The Role

Using your technical knowledge to work on the electrical and mechanical systems for a range of light commercial vehicles, we can promise that every day will be packed with variety. You will use the diagnostic equipment to get to the root cause of faults, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, perform preventive maintenance and MOT preparation.

You

You will have a minimum Level 2 qualification and have spent time served in the automotive sector or similar environment. A full driving licence is essential. We also expect you to be a team player who’s continually focused on the needs of customers.
