Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician (Level 2 qualified)
Working hours Monday to Friday – either 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm
Salary: Up to £23,000
Location: Upper Heyford, Bicester, Oxfordshire, OX25 5HA

Our client is in vehicle remarketing industry, who selling’s 1.3m vehicles per annum, across 60 locations and with a turnover of £2billion and a looking for an experienced Panel Beater to work with their technician team, ensuring their vehicles are finished to the highest standard for their customers.
They are now actively recruiting for a Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for their site in Upper Heyford, Bicester.
Main responsibilities:
- Carry out general servicing of vehicles.
- Undertake general tyre changing duties for a variety of vehicles.
- Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required.
- Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
- Plan and organise time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines, achieving efficiency.
- Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required
- Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
- Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
- Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2
- Full UK Driving Licence
- You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
- You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
- Excellent attention to detail
