Online Car Sales Executive

Are you looking for a new challenge within the automotive industry?  We have an exciting opportunity to join the digital division of a multi-brand motor group as an ONLINE CAR SALES CONSULTANT.  Working from the Exeter-based office in the newly created virtual showroom and online Sales environment, promoting, and selling across 12 vehicle franchises.

 Your key responsibilities will include:

• Effectively handling inbound and outbound enquires via telephone, email or digital methods maximizing sales opportunities
• Engage with customers and prospects in a professional and reassuring manner to support them in their chosen vehicle journey
• Assist customers in completing the sales process including part exchange and finance applications
• Ensure a successful outcome for all customers who have ordered or reserved vehicles online by arranging a smooth handover at their selected dealership (where applicable) and managing all the necessary back-office updates / processes in a timely manner
• Contribute to the achievement of the Company's commercial objectives including profit, sales volume and KPI's identified including response times to customers
• Identify areas to improve sales and deliver outstanding customer experience through customers' channels of choice - video chat, live chat, phone call, email etc
• Make improvement suggestions that will contribute to increasing online sales and/or to improve the customer experience
• Ad hoc tasks and duties to maintain the professional function of the facility

To be considered you will need to have experience in a sales environment, ideally of a higher price-point product.  You will be conversant with a range of IT, willing to learn and eager to achieve targets / KPi’s.
