An Operations Analyst is required by a major, UK & International Warehouse, Logistics and freight forwarding organisation. The role is to work from home 3 days a week and the office 2 days per week.

The position holder will conduct regular analysis of supply chain/warehouse operational statistics including ABC analysis, productivity, KPI measures and financial performance against agreed budget to help identify and monitor continual improvement projects. The Operations Analyst will control areas such as contract financial data, operational IT developments, quality fulfillment and improvement projects as well as provide operational support during periods of holiday, absence and high volumes. Must be an EXPERT on Excel.
ROLE: Operations Analyst
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
BASIC SALARY: £32k to £42k
HOURS: 3 Days working from home, 2 days in the office

ROLE: . To control areas such as contract financial data, operational IT developments, quality fulfilment and improvement projects. To provide operational support during periods of holiday, absence and high volumes. Direct management responsibility of Inventory / Administration / Returns team.

·Develop a high performing Admin, Inventory and Returns through SMART objective setting, review and  coaching

·Provide operational support for Admin, Inventory and Returns Supervisor

·Regular review of stock holding locations and warehouse layout using ABC analysis.

Review of warehouse stock holding capacity in light of changes in customer stock profile

·Champion KAIZEN activities to identify and implement 5s principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

·Identification, monitoring and reporting of cost saving initiatives and improvements.

·Control of operational IT process improvements, raising, tracking and ensuring completion of IT RFWs.

·Contribute to customer IT review meetings and liaison with the customer and IT representatives on all IT issues.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

Must be an expert on Excel

·Knowledge of warehouse operations/ analytical experience

·Knowledge / operational experience of WMi

·Knowledge of logistics analysis

·Awareness of KAIZEN principles

·Leadership / Management of direct reports

Strong Analysis skills and communication skills, reporting etc.
