The Role:

As a Panel Technician at The Vella Group we want all our staff to take pride in the quality of their work. We are uncompromising on customer safety; therefore, all our repairs are to manufacturer and industry standards. Despite not being a customer facing role, all our staff are focused on delivering what’s important to each individual customer.

Panel Technicians are specialised in replacing or repairing damaged panels, whether this requires dents and scratches to be repaired like new, or the replacement of a new panel, ability and skill will be required. Experience of welding and panel bonding, preferably supported by the relevant qualifications, are a key requirement for the role. The ability to use pulling and measuring systems, plus basic diagnostic equipment is also of importance.

Working closely in partnership with our Vehicle Assessors, Panel Technicians will assist on making decisions on the appropriate method of repair. As a family business we pride ourselves on being a close-knit team, and a culture of sharing knowledge of best practice with each other.
