How you’ll play your part

We’re looking for someone passionate and self-motivated, who has a deep understanding of customer needs and the competitive environment in both retail and corporate sectors. You’ll develop this understanding to construct the optimal product offering for the UK market in terms of concept, specification and pricing to deliver targeted volume and profitability levels. You’ll develop a strong customer orientation and comprehensive product knowledge.

You’ll be a confident influencer, working closely with our central Market Management, Controlling and Product Management in Germany to ensure the product offering is developed, this will include attending key meetings such as International Product Committee (IPC) Workshops.  You’ll engage with and influence the Retailer Network and colleagues in: WLC, Sales, Risk Management and Customer Services. You’ll be able to apply your current knowledge of competitive markets to monitor market development, competitor activity and performance of our products. You’ll use these insights to conceive, develop and coordinate the implementation of appropriate product actions, provide input into sales campaigns to deliver volume and profitability objectives.

We’re passionate about providing high quality expertise, something you’ll be able to take ownership of in this role. You’ll support the business by actively providing product expertise at relevant high-profile events such as Press launches, Corporate events, presentations to WLC and leasing companies, (Euro)training, retailer events, etc. You’ll show enthusiasm and creativity, taking responsibility for ensuring that relevant information is communicated to and understood by key areas of the business to optimise products throughout their lifecycle. You’ll establish a competitive positioning for the assigned products within their respective sectors that will motivate potential purchasers, and identify the features and benefits of the product that best support this model positioning or the overall position of the brand.  You’ll collaborate with Marketing Communications, Press and PR colleagues to translate this into a compelling communications.

You’ll be an experienced and engaging leader, who is passionate about generating a high performance culture to ensure accurate and timely flow of information on the products and sector to all audiences.
