We have vacancies in our Accounts Department at Arden Maidstone Limited - we are looking for a Purchase Ledger Administrator.
Our ideal candidate will be strong, analytical, logical, stay calm under pressure of deadlines and possess a high attention to detail! Being able to work independently, and also as part of the accounts team to achieve the deadlines is essential. IT literacy and attention to detail, and accuracy are key skills, as well as being a strong communicator.
For this position we will only consider applicants with purchase ledger/ accounts department experience. Level 3 Accounts qualification and/or experience within the role in the motor industry will be a huge advantage!
The role involves the use of several software packages unique to the motor trade: so, a high level of competency in IT is a MUST!
Only those with the relevant experience, self motivation, strong organisational and IT skills need apply!
- Processing approximately 1500 invoices a month
- Reconciling supplier statements and liaising with suppliers for payments and queries
- Processing payment runs ensuring suppliers are paid promptly and within agreed credit terms
- Credit card and petty cash reconciliation
- Providing holiday cover for sales ledger and general office duties
- To have a good knowledge of VAT/Non VAT items
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Have willingness to work outside normal hours where necessary to get the job done and to meet deadlines
