Purchase Ledger Assistant
Pembrook Resourcing are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their client, a well renowned dealership within the area.
Purchase Ledger Responsibilities
- Monitor and control accurate processing and coding of Invoice and Capex costs in line with company policies
- Line manage and develop Accounts Payable Assistants
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; be the escalation point for queries and complaints
- Review and process middle and end-of-month BACS run and ad-hoc payments
- Monitor & allocate Direct Debit payments from bank statement to Purchase Ledger
- Manage monthly close of Purchase Ledger
- Produce Aged Creditor and Payment Practices Reports
- Reconciliation of supplier and manufacturer statements
- Assist with P&L variance analysis against the budget
- Become familiar with the work of other members of the finance team and assist if required
Purchase ledger Requirements
Will be PC literate, conscientious and quick to learn, previous experience using a Kerridge/Autoline/Keyloop system is preferred. Experience in a previous purchase ledger role at supervisor level, or someone wanting to take the next step to supervisor level will also be considered.
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday 40 hours a week, receiving competitive pay according to experience, and ongoing future career development opportunities.
