Job Title: Recovery Driver (Truck and Trailer)
Location: High Wycombe, HP12 4HH
Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on skills and experience) + excellent benefits
Full Time and Permanent – Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

Whether it is minor car park damage or a road traffic accident our nine repair centres provide a range of services that use modern repair methods to put your vehicle back to its pre-accident condition, ensuring they repair every vehicle with utmost pride and care.
They are now actively looking to recruit 4 Recovery Drivers based from their brand new state of the art Bodyshop site in High Wycombe.
You will be using a variety of Recovery Vehicles some will be Up to 3,500kg where you only need a normal driving licence and some of the Recovery Vehicles will be over 3.500kg and with a trailer where you will need to have a category C licence.
Our client is flexible to consider candidates who have a recovery background but do not have a Category CPC licence as our client will put them through the course.
About the Job
You will be responsible for driving a recovery truck and trailer, collecting vehicles from customers and bringing them to site for the repair work to be carried out, and delivering vehicles back to customers.
It is essential that you follow legal requirements as set out in the Road Traffic Act and that you are flexible as you will be required to cover other sites annual leave and sickness absence.
About you
You will have experience in a driving role, as a vehicle recovery driver would be beneficial but not essential. You must be able to:
Plan your workload effectively
Work skillfully and safely under pressure
Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision
Be flexible in your approach
Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind
You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
Valid Driving Licence (ideally clean)
Category CPC Licence would be preferred but is not essential
