Role
We are recruiting for an Engineering Manager with a strong track record leading large technical teams comprising developers and database professionals. The role would suit a candidate with a background working in large complex technical environments. You would be responsible for 3 or 4 direct reports and an overall technical team of 45. The team works with large volumes of real time transactional data requiring complex reporting solutions. The role reports into the Head of BI and would be contributing to wider strategy, improving processes and ensuring project delivery.
There is a major investment in technology as the company expands internationally and now is an exciting time to join as they build out their services and solutions.
Key skills and experience
Proven leadership of engineering/development/database teams
Technical understanding of databases (ideally SQL) and awareness of BI Solutions such as SSRS, .NET etc
