Service Technician/MOT Tester

Our client, a Franchised Motor Trade main dealer group in the HP postcode area of Buckinghamshire is looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician with an MOT Testing license to join their busy workshop team. The basic salary on offer is £24k with an OTE of £40k.

Skills & experience:

• City and Guilds or NVQ Automotive Servicing and Repair Level 3
• Ability to work within time frames.
• MOT Testing License
• Experience working within the workshop is essential.
• Must hold a Full UK driving licence.

Key responsibilities:

• Servicing vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturers' guidelines.
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
• Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
• Producing time estimates.
• Maintaining repair and service records
• The right individual must be confident and professional in their approach while being someone who can be efficient.
