Location: Chorley

Job Type: Full time position, Monday – Friday with alternate Saturday mornings.

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.

My client, one of the fastest-growing car dealerships in the North West with 4 branches, are now looking for an experienced Technician/MOT Tester to join their team at their Chorley site.

More about the Role:

My client is looking for a fully qualified technician with an MOT certificate to join their team. You must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in vehicle mechanics, have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to work as part of an effective team. You must hold a VOSA MOT smartcard.

Requirements for the Role:

Must have previous experience and must be MOT Tester trained.

Full UK driving licence.

In this important role, you will be fully competent in the servicing and repair of vehicles to the highest manufacturers standards.

As well as technical competence in the mechanics of a vehicle you should have a thorough knowledge of the electrical and electronic components of a vehicle and be comfortable with using the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.

You should be a good team player and communicator to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, ensuring you liaise with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations
