Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles Assembly Europe, Coventry, United Kingdom

Position Overview:

Multimatic Niche Vehicle Assembly Europe (MNVAE), located in Coventry UK, is a world-class facility responsible for the production of future bespoke vehicles. MNVAE is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team and be responsible for ensuring othat parts are fed to the lines accurately and on time

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receiving goods at the loading/receiving dock
  • Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
  • Checking of loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
  • Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
  • Cleaning the work area to ensure that goods don’t get damaged
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
  • Good awareness of health and safety principles and industry standards
  • Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the storage standard of material on site
  • Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the system accuracy of material on site
  • Responsible for the smooth flow of parts to and from vendors and the 3PL, to the assembly line
  • Responsible for the perpetual inventory process and results
  • Participate in continuous improvement program
  • Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts
  • Follow all Departmental General Procedure
  • Monitor all stock levels

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in material, planning or logistics role.
  • Fork Lift Driver – Current licence 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Receive goods at the loading/receiving dock
  • Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
  • Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
  • Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
  • Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
  • Clean the space and ensure that goods don’t get damaged
  • Work with a team
