Workshop Engineer/ Fitter - Hammersmith - West London
Salary around the £38k mark - Monday to Friday
Overtime available
My client have provided a first class service to the Commercial Vehicle Market for over 30 years, they have an enviable customer base and a reputation that is second to none.
They have grown considerably in the Hammersmith - West London area and as such have a need for a talented Commercial Vehicle Engineer/ Technician who can do the full remit of duties and excel in a positive and vibrant working environment
Your remit will be to carry out the full cycle of Repairs, Servicing, MOT work to a high standard and help the team to achieve a high productivity level in a range of Heavy Goods Vehicles, your work will be varied including:
Routine & Planned Servicing
Diagnostic Work
MOT Preparation
Vehicle Repairs
Tachograph Maintenance
Tailift/ Hydraulic work
Chassis and Fabrication work
If you have experience of working on Council/ Refuse/ Municipal Vehicles then you have a greater chance of hitting the ground running at this site.
The working hours are regular days (no split shift patterns).
Candidate who have experience of working on a Mobile Mechanic basis may also relish this opportunity.
A good all round knowledge is required; especially if you have a good understanding of Hydraulics.
There is an excellent rate of pay, working conditions and long term benefits available.
