Divisional Trainer - Location Nottingham - Salary£30K OTE + Car
Our client is the largest independent operator of franchised automotive dealerships in the UK. Selling a broad range of new and used motor cars and commercial vehicles, our client represents over 20 volume brands including Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Nissan, Renault, and is the largest Vauxhall retailer in the UK. Today our client represents over 180 volume dealerships with a nationwide coverage spanning all parts of the UK.
As part of their commitment to excellence and investment in people, our client is currently recruiting for a divisional trainer to join their training team. The role will involve delivery of classroom and in-dealership training to both sales and service teams at their sites.
Whilst a significant amount of your time will be spent delivering from their dedicated training facilities in both Nottingham and Leeds, you may be expected to travel to any of their 120 dealerships across the UK, so both your home location and your ability to commute will be vital.
Key responsibilities:
1. Delivering all sales courses offered to new team members. This will require that you maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of the sales process (including finance and insurance), administration procedure, legal requirements and compliance relating to the sale of a car
2. Assessing the progress of each team member who has been trained in a post-course assessment, both in a classroom and in the workplace
3. Reviewing each dealership's sales process on a regular basis using standardised processes and documents
4. Delivering all aftersales programmes to new team members. To achieve this you will have a comprehensive knowledge of the VHC process and how to explain it to customers.
In addition to having significant experience of the business and its processes, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate effective training and communication skills, good motivational techniques and be geographically mobile. Drive, resilience and the ability to gain credibility and respect at all levels will be necessary to perform effectively in this role. The ideal candidate will have training, teaching or assessing qualification. Experience of coaching and/or assessing will also be of benefit to the role.
An attractive salary and other benefits associated with working for the UK’s largest Motor Dealer Group are on offer to the right candidates.
