Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Limited provide dedicated support to all of the automotive brands within the Volkswagen Group and is committed to helping Retailers achieve a successful and profitable F&l performance.

As part ofVWFS' innovative approach to selling financial products we are recruiting an In-source Group F&l Manager to work within a leading, privately owned, AM100 motor retail group.

Working within the retail group, and employed by Carter & Carter, the Group F&l Manager is responsible for maximising earnings from F&l to the mutual benefit of both VWFS and the retail group.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing Group F&l policy and strategy with Directors and ensuring that Business Managers comply as directed.

  • Ensuring the Group operates with a robust sales process integrated with F&l and conducted in accordance with FSA, CCA and other appropriate legislation.

  • Managing the day-to-day F&l activity including the performance, development, training and coaching of the Group's Business Managers.

  • Establishing ongoing commitment from Group management towards achievement of agreed levels of F&l performance.

  • Conducting regular F&l performance reviews and ensuring that subsequent action points are implemented and their effectiveness measured and reviewed.

    The role calls for an individual with a highly developed understanding of the motor industry with specific experience in driving Retailer F&l performance.

    The individual will be highly motivated and well organised with proven skills in relationship management, influencing, communication, problem solving/creativity, decision making and people development, with a strong desire and ability to achieve stretching objectives.
