Regional Manager – Secondary Network
• Northern Region
Supporting the Regional Director, you’ll develop a programme for enhanced quality of representation and improved secondary network communication and performance across your region. You’ll take responsibility for all aspects of sales, after sales, quality and profitability for the network, overseeing recruitment, training and retention ensuring all staff have the tools, skills and knowledge they need to excel.
You should have proven experience in a commercial role and could come from either a dealer or manufacturing background. If you can draw on both, so much the better. We’ll also be looking for excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, an aptitude for problem solving and the ability to work well under pressure in a target driven environment. Commercial awareness and relationship building skills are essential and you’ll be confident in analysing financial information.
Franchise Development Managers
• Northern Region
• Southern Region
These are key business development roles that focus on managing
the growth and success of our franchise representation. You’ll take
on responsibility for everything from dealer prospecting, to evaluating performance, to managing redevelopments. This will include working with prospects to prepare business plans and assess their funding needs, right through to acting in a consultancy and coaching capacity to help dealers drive profitability.
Experience in a manufacturer or dealer retailing environment is essential. This will need to show your ability to analyse and interpret financial information, to turn this into strategic plans and then communicate these clearly at many different levels. We’ll expect you to be highly numerate and either hold a degree with a financial specialisation or be a qualified/part-qualified accountant. Added to this you’ll be an accomplished and confident presenter.
Area Managers – Sales & Marketing
• Southern Region
• Northern Region (12 month contract)
Working closely with the Regional Director, you’ll use your expertise to help Dealers target market and profit opportunities. Specifically, you’ll devise and implement initiatives that boost new vehicle sales while at the same time improve standards, quality, customer retention and satisfaction. As part of this you’ll take responsibility for ordertake and registration objectives and put the training and development in place to ensure your Network’s success.
We’re looking for people with proven commercial experience, ideally gained either in a dealer network or industry environment. Either way you’ll need to have a good knowledge of dealer sales operations and dealer and manufacturer systems. We’ll expect you to be an outstanding negotiator, influencer and relationship builder, with the ability to work well under pressure in a target driven environment. We’ll also look to you to bring proven skills in planning and organisation, systems and analysis.
Area Managers – Services & Quality
• Northern Region
• East Anglia Region
• Central Region
You’ll support the Regional Director in driving consistently high levels of customer satisfaction in the Renault UK dealer network. In particular, we’ll look to you to implement a Parts & Service marketing strategy to ensure we achieve our penetration and parts turnover objectives. Your role also involves implementing best practice processes and standards as well as ensuring each dealership has the right human and technical resources.
You’ll have previous experience in a commercial role - this could be in either a manufacturer or a dealer. We’ll be looking for a good knowledge of relevant service operations and manufacturer systems as well as analysis skills. You’ll also bring good commercial awareness, excellent communication, planning and problem solving skills, and the ability to negotiate with and influence others.
