Januarys' Detroit motor show will see four world premieres from BMW - plus the US debut of the Mini.

Top of BMW's bill will be the new high performance version of its X5 Sports Activity Vehicle. Powered by a 4.6-litre V8 347bhp engine, it will accelerate from 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds and to a top speed of 149mph.

Also unveiled will be the M3 Convertible, sharing the 343bhp, 3.2-litre engine found in the M3 Coupe, and lastly the M Coupe and M Roadster models featuring the new 3.2-litre 'straight six' Motorsport engine, developing 325bhp and a 0-62mph time of 5.3 seconds, compared to 5.4 seconds for the previous models.
