Dealers can improve the way their cars are electronically marketed by using the latest interactive technology.

Jamie Mitchell, business development manager of Oxfordshire-based Panormania production house, works with VW and several other manufacturers.

He said: “An interactive site is the closest that you can get to demonstrating a car manufacturer's product range without seeing it in the metal. Interested purchasers can rotate cars on screen at will in order to examine them from all angles.

“They can also trial colour specifications and take a closer look at particular aspects of their chosen car's interior and exterior using a 'click and zoom' facility - all without leaving the house.”

Panormania combines photographic expertise with sophisticated software to produce images that are customised to client specifications.

Using the latest 3D and 360 degree imaging technology, the company creates interactive photography and walk-through tours for websites and multi-media CDs.
