Kalamazoo International will this summer provide users of its Motodata, Visi and Classic systems with low-cost upgrades.

Malcolm Roberts, chief executive of the £65m turnover group, said: “Dealers are already under considerable pressure to keep costs down and improve efficiency. “The prospect of rebuilding databases and links with manufacturers is a huge deterrent when groups are considering upgrading to new systems and services.”

He said the Kalamazoo long-term development programme and the upgrade had been designed to enable dealers to make the most of new processes without a major systems overhaul. During the summer, Kalamazoo International representatives will tour the UK to help dealers to identify their future business and systems needs.

Kalamazoo has invested more than £20m over three years to develop its flexible dealer management systems.
