The John Martin Group will on January 1, 2003, become Scotland's only Rolls-Royce representative.

The new Rolls-Royce centre, opened to coincide with BMW taking control from VW of the Rolls Royce brand, will be housed in a purpose-built showroom, alongside the John Martin Group's Dunedin BMW dealership in Edinburgh.

John Martin Jnr, said: "Everything about the new Rolls-Royce marque is exciting - from the introduction of what will be the world's finest luxury car, to the new world headquarters at Goodwood. We're delighted to be a part of it, and look forward to once again representing the manufacturer of the world's most prestigious motor cars - meeting the needs and expectations of our past, present and future owners."

The John Martin Group has gained experience of the marque in 16 years of running the Murray Motor Company dealership in Edinburgh. January 1, 2003 will see the Rolls-Royce franchise return to the John Martin Group family, alongside Aston Martin, BMW and Lotus.
