Internet retailer eCarDivision claims a link-up with Barclays' business-to-business division has increased sales fourfold in three months.

The BarclaysB2B Exchange service has enabled eCarDivision to widen its potential customer base, boosting turnover from £2.8m to £6m on the back of more fleet orders. The firm has opened a second office, in Scotland, to cover the growth in sales leads.

Patrick Hill, eCarDivision managing director, said the company was focusing on medium to large corporate business. “Added to the repeat individual business, this has enabled eCarDivision to increase its running rate to £6m,” he said. “We have supply agreements with companies like Green Flag and Aon, the second largest warranty broker in the world, so we can offer a one-stop solution.”
