Daihatsu has announced a three year/60,000 mile warranty for all parts and accessories.

In addition, the company will next year further improve its next day parts delivery service through the appointment of a new distribution company.

The new three year/60,000 warranty covers all 20,000-plus parts and accessories currently available for Cuore, Sirion, Terios, Fourtrak, Hijet and YRV as well as older models such as the Charade, Sportrak, Move and Grand Move.

The only condition is that the items are fitted by an official Daihatsu dealer. However, should the owner fit the parts or accessories himself, the warranty will exclude the labour cost. This permanent initiative is back-dated from January 1, 2001.

Daihatsu's new importers, International Motors Limited, will be using a new transport company from March 2002. Lynx Partsflow will handle all dealer deliveries of stock order parts. It will mean VOR (Vehicle Off The Road) parts deliveries will be transported overnight, arriving at dealer premises first thing next morning instead of at 10.30 am.

Stock parts deliveries will have a two-day lead-time, providing first-class frequency and convenience for Daihatsu customers.
