Inchape Retail, the UK motor retail operation of the Inchcape Group has began the rebranding of its retail network.

The company has today opened Inchcape Toyota, in Oxford, the first Inchcape retail delearship to trade under the company name.

In February Inchcape restructured and rebranded its UK businesses under the Inchcape brand. The retail division will be rolling out the new identity through the network of dealerships that include Toyota, Vauxhall, Renault and Nissan, gradually replacing the existing Mann Egerton and Wadham Kenning brands.

All new acquisitions and facelifts will be branded Inchcape. This includes the new dealership Inchcape Nissan – Shrewsbury and the recently refurbished Inchcape Vauxhall – Reading, which had traded as Wadham Kenning.

Inchcape's premium brands will continue under their current names, HA Fox (Jaguar), Vincents (Audi), Cooper (BMW) and Hunters (Land Rover).

Robert Hazelwood, Inchcape Retail managing director, said: “We intend to capitalise on our reputation and continually improve and enhance our total customer service, working in unison with other businesses within the Inchcape UK structure.”
