Vauxhall's new Corsa has made a strong start in the used car market, at its premier at BCA Nottingham.

The RVs on a like-for-like basis are 14% better than the old model range.

A series of X-reg new three-door Corsas produced an average RV of 85.3% of list.

Examples included:
1.0 Comfort sold for £7,050 (87.1% of list)
1.2 Comfort sold for £7,600 (89.5%)
1.4 SRi sold for £9,600 (89%)
1.4 Elegance sold for £8,900 (83.6%)

Mike Brown, Vauxhall used vehicle wholesale manager, said: "The auction debut showed that quality used Vauxhall products are very much in demand and we were pleased with the result. We expect the RVs to continue, not just with new Corsa but across many other models in our range."

The next Vauxhall auctions are on April 19, at Belle Vue and April 24 at BCA Nottingham.
