Channel 4 has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast on television and via the internet the 24 hour Le Mans race on June 16-17.

The deal allows the channel to show the event continuously via its online motoring channel 4car.co.uk, with highlights on TV.

The presenters will be the team who front Channel 4's motoring programme Driven, Penny Mallory, Jason Plato and Mike Brewer.
