The Department of Trade and Industry has singled out Ebbon-Dacs as an e-commerce 'guiding light' for the automotive industry.
The company was contacted by DTI consultants in May inviting them to feature in a series of filmed case studies highlighting “successful and innovative” e-commerce approaches to the marketplace.
The film on Ebbon-Dacs features its integrated showroom, the multi-channel sales management software, used by the Hartwell Group, and Ebbon-Dacs' leasing process tool Leaselink which is operating at around 85 dealerships and four contract hire companies.
The case study will feature in roadshows planned for later this year and on the DTI's motor industry retail forum's website.
Su Copeland, Ebbon-Dacs' marketing manager, said: “The recommendation confirms that we are definitely on the right track.”
