The 206 SW, shown as a concept, will be built at Ryton, Coventry, from early next year. The derivative of the UK's best-selling small car is a supermini estate to compete against the Fabia estate and Seat Cordoba. The show car was almost production ready but the final version is likely to be less aggressively styled.

The concept's 180bhp, 2-litre engine is being reserved for the 307 GTI. Also going into production next year will be the 307 SW – a compact MPV similar to Honda's Stream. It seats seven in three rows of seats – the two rear rows can be individually folded or removed. The central second row seat doubles as a table. The rear seats have to be removed and cannot be folded away as they are on the Vauxhall Zafira.
