Squire Furneaux extends Volvo territory

Squire Furneaux Group has acquired a Volvo dealership from HE Marshalls with locations in Slough, Beaconsfield and High Wycombe.

The Group now operates a Volvo market area comprising three adjoining Volvo territories in six locations from Leatherhead in Surrey, west to Slough and Maidenhead and north to High Wycombe and Beaconsfield. This is the largest, home counties Volvo Group territory in the South of England.

Charles Slaughter, son of Marshalls' founder Roy, will have a non-executive directors role at Squire Furneaux, in addition to his other Marshalls Group businesses. Staff teams will be retained at all dealership facilities.

Mark Squire, Group Managing Director, said: “ The HE Marshalls acquisition marks an important step in the growth of our company with a manufacturer we have extensive experience with. "We are introducing our Group commitments to high levels of service with immediate effect into the new dealerships and we are operationally fit to expand in this well known territory."
