Severe winter weather and the resulting spate of accidents could put the UK's bodyshop sector under severe pressure, says the Bodyshop Owners Fellowship.

The body, set up earlier this year to combat the sector's worsening financial position, claims that lack of capacity as a result of bodyshop closures and consolidations could lead to a “meltdown” situation. The warning echoes a similar warning from the RMI's Bodyshop division chief Bob Hood
