A glut of new vehicles in Europe and tumbling prices is likely to lead to a resurgence in UK consumers looking abroad for the best deals, according to Internet-based retailer BroomBroom.com.

“Two months ago, we were increasingly able to supply customers with competitively discounted cars from UK franchised dealers and suppliers eager to shift their excess stock and hit manufacturer supported targets,” says company director Ashley Manek.

“While we are still able to offer some good savings from the UK market, the deals on the table from UK dealers simply don't stack up against some of the savings we are achieving from European dealers and suppliers.”

BroomBroom.com cites a 13 per cent or £3075 saving on the £23,670 MRRP of a BMW 318Ci coupe.
