Independent Factors Association branches will be sourcing new clutches exclusively from Sachs Boge as part of a three-year supply agreement worth about £30 million at retail prices. The contract was sealed less than a year into a three-year single supplier contract with the IFA for shock absorbers.

The 41 members of the IFA buying alliance of motor factors include ARE, Jayar, Mill Auto Supplies, Bennett's, PCS and Car Spares. Together they operate almost 200 branches. Richard Bennett, Sachs Boge (UK)'s sales manager, says the timing couldn't be better. “It's been agreed at the same time our Clutch Tool Box menu pricing CD has been given its aftermarket release,” he says. “This immediately gives garages access to an easy to use menu-pricing programme that will make part selection and job pricing very straightforward.”

All Sachs Boge clutches are manufactured to OE specification. The Tool Box CD includes the technical information usually supplied as original service data.
