The RMI's training arm ReMIT now has a quality director, a new position intended to improve standards within the organisation.

Stephen Wright has previously worked for a number of other organisations, including Edexcel, City & Guilds, and the Training and Enterprise Council. He will be based at ReMIT's new Croydon training centre, which opened its doors to trainees in October 2002.

He says: “For many years, ReMIT has delivered a high level of service to countless young people. My job is to ensure that this tradition is continued and enhanced through clearly-defined standards, and improved communication, measuring, and monitoring. The objective is to deliver an excellent level of service for both learners and industry.”
