Vauxhall has added a 120 new van part numbers to its Trade Club programme. It now has an inventory of more than 2100 aftermarket components.

New references cover the most popular service and repair parts for Corsavan from 2001 and Combo from 2002, plus Corsa hatchback models. The Trade Club scheme now covers a parc of more than 300,000 vehicles.

“It's a logical extension to the range. As we have increased our share of the car derived van market, the parts side has become a magnet for the competition,” says Jim Williams, Vauxhall Trade Club manager. “In increasing the range we our showing our members that our parts are readily available, and at competitive prices.”

Vauxhall has seen its car-derived van sales increase over the past two years, along with its market share. It has sold 30,297 vehicles so far this year, a 33 per cent increase on the 2002 figure for the same period and a 61 per cent increase on 2001.

Its market share of the car derived van market has also significantly increased from 23 per cent in 2001 to 36 per cent in 2003. The range includes the Combo, Astravan and Corsavan.
