Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest carmaker, today announced that it plans to increase exports to Europe by 26 per cent to 126,000 units this year from last year's 100,000 units.

A company statement says: "In order to meet our total export target, we will increase exports to Europe by expanding our aftersales service, sales network and marketing.”

Kia said it aims to increase exports, including those to Europe, to 527,000 units from 450,000 last year. Its total sales, including domestic sales, are expected to rise to 1.09m units this year from 899,000 last year.
