GM hints at US Saab move

General Motors is considering assembling Saab vehicles in the United States as part of a the vaunted 'Viggen' turnaround plan for the loss-making Swedish carmaker.

In an interview at the Geneva Motor Show, GM CEO Rick Wagoner also said he was looking to build a closer relationship between Saab and Subaru. Saab's US dealers could get a version of the Subaru WRX wagon.
