A UK employment tribunal ruling has criticised the management of DaimlerChrysler UK's HQ at Milton Keynes as having 'no demonstrable commitment to equality of opportunity.

The comment followed the conclusion of a case of claimed racial discrimination case in which a man of Palestinian descent won £100,000.

In finding against the company, the tribunal said Daimler Chrysler had a "one paragraph" policy on discrimination but no guidance on how it should be applied and no staff training.
