Toyota's business centre network of 90 dealerships, launched in January, is now fully operational. Each centre brings all the services offered by the manufacturer under one roof, designed to guarantee a 'fast track' solution for fleet operators and owner-operators and improve customer satisfaction.

The business centres offer:

  • at least one dedicated business-to-business sales person
  • dedicated office and supporting communications
  • at least three commercial demonstrators
  • out-of-hours servicing
  • assistance in local marketing activity and advertising using a dedicated local business database. Six regional business centre managers have also been appointed.

    Peter Howarth, Toyota GB's business centre and commercial vehicle manager, said: “Seventy per cent of the headcount for the Toyota business centre network is in place. We have recruited steadily to ensure the right balance of car and CV knowledge from our business centre staff. Each centre is working hard to build stronger local business links with accurate and timely dialogue.”
